The position of UX Consultant acts an expert for the visual user experience of products, supports business initiatives (Global and Regional level) UX Consultant is also responsible for the analyses, defines required behavior and performance of system and documents all or part of a business (functions, processes, information) in a methodical approach. Defines the visual user experience guidelines, reviews and provides consulting to projects on visual user experience topics, particularly the total use experience and communicates and educates about value and principles of system behavior and its solution.Responsibilities

  • Working relationships with people responsible for architectural communication in all regions of IT

  • Communicate effectively all important news that should be made available to the designer community
  • Seek contributions from regions and makes them available to the respective team members
  • Develop communication strategies with the aim to improve the effectiveness of communication to the

designer community at IT Services and Business IT

  • Analyses the implications of the context of use and bring them to the attention of the members of the

team

  • Provide technical evaluation of systems, products, or services, to assure both stakeholder and

organizational requirements have been met and ensure that required practice has been followedappropriately documented

  • Act as Subject Matters Expert on visual user experience for Global infrastructures services supported by

department

  • Provide the iterative development of user tasks, interaction and interfaces to meet user requirements,

Considering The Whole User Experience

  • Refine the design solutions in response to user-centered evaluation and feedback and communicating

the design to those responsible for implementation

  • Documents work using the required standards, methods and tools
  • Acts to gain a deep understanding of user motivations, market opportunities, and competition
  • Work with product managers and engineers to create a vision for interacting and engaging with

hardware devices and software

  • Guide development to faithfully implement and ship fantastic experiences across a range of hardware

productsRequirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or IT related discipline such as Human Computer Interaction, Psychology,

Information Systems, Library Sciences, Human Factors or ergonomics, Interaction design,Anthropology, Communication Design, Arts

  • Two or more years of user experience design experience for software, Web applications which leverage

emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices

  • Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook

technique

  • Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
  • Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Axure, Illustrator, and associated design tools
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, LESS etc
  • Experience applying research methodologies & practices in strategy and product development
  • Have a solid understanding of data analysis and statistical methods
  • Excellent Portfolio on research findings, methods and process
  • Excellent qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Experience with a diverse set of methodologies (e.g. user testing, cognitive walk-throughs, 1:1 user

interviews, remote testing, field studies, focus groups, diary study and surveys)

  • Professional association credentials preferred
  • Good communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Experience in estimating scope and timeline within an agile environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and collaboration skills

Behavioral Skills

  • Experience working in cross cultural teams is advantage
  • Used to work fully independently, proposing own solutions and able to work out details of high level

task assignments

  • Teamwork – ability to work within and contribute to a team
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in geographically distant locations
  • Proactive and flexible to handle multiple parallel tasks
  • Excellent English language (both written and spoken)
